The dells that are having problems - what firmware level are the PERC's
at and what version of the driver is being used?
I recall someone on the list a while back stating that 2.5x of both was
necessary for reliable operation.
We have a number of Dell's here with the PERC controllers and have never
had data corruption (well ok - with Linux we have). We do keep up to
date on drivers and firmware.
