It reuses the same transaction logs files, thereby conserving disk
space.  However, it also means you can't recover to the point of
failure, but I guess this isn't your main problem at the moment!

Actually I do have Circular logging enabled. What exactly does this do.
I might have had to enable it in the past, but I can't remember. Will
this save me space?
