Not trying to be
argumentative, but your statement about what I quoted is in error.
What I
quoted says nothing about receiving spam - my quote talks about receiving
responses to spam. Not the same.
I agree that the
sign-up page phrase "every piece of spam that goes into or out of" is badly
worded and probably was never reviewed by legal counsel. It's clearly not
their intent to charge innocent victims of spam, as seen by the checkboxes
on that page and the other policy statements. I wouldn't be concerned
about it, as it would fall apart in court if challenged, not to mention generate
bad publicity for Novell.
