We use Sophos and it definitely works for us, but I was dealing with a small US sales force at the time. Sophos has grown worldwide over the past several years and I think some of these satellite offices might be creating these "non-approved" emails. I can't imagine trying to make a sale in one breath and then making a threat in an other. Maybe you need to send the email to Sophos PLC (not Sophos Inc).
