So is the only requirement that the user "reply to all"?

That might work better, as it won't require that I add the mailbox to
every user who is involved....

Yes these will be small (5 members).

Hmmmm...

We do this with e-mail enabled distribution groups. The message is
delivered to all members of the group. If the person who handles it
replies to all, the rest of the group gets the reply, so they know it's
been handled, and it's very simple for the users involved. This works
with relatively small groups; if your group is large, it could generate
mail storms. In that case, the folder options others have suggested
might be better.

        Hi all,

I was wondering what other people are doing for setting up email
addresses such as [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or
[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ?

I need to have a group of 5 people receive email sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> , and have any of the 5 be
able to reply. (it doesn't matter to me if the reply looks like it came
from "sales" or the "Mary"... but I DO need the other 4 people to know
that the message was taken care of.

I was thinking of using a distribution list, and adding the
appropriate members to it, but the individuals won't know when an
incoming email has been answered, or replied to. And this is the same
problem if I were to use a mail-enabled public folder.

What are others doing to handle this?

        Thanks!

        -Dave
