I say- don't even let on that you even know how to say 'Da' or 'Net' in
Russian. Plead absolute ignorance and that way it's really fun watching them
getting annoyed and nowhere.Dav

Hello! If you live in Russia, especially in Moscow, you should know that police
officers want to earn money instead to doing their job well:) If you drive
expensive car a police officer will stop you to check something. Probably they
check you because you have red face. There isn't logical explanation why
officers stop you:)

Extortion is a part of many of the police officers' jobs in the U. S. as well
apparently. I've experienced it first hand. Keeps the lawyers and bail
bondsmen paid as well.

The police officers are indeed trying to do their job. That job being
extortion. My guess is that you have a nice car? Your stalwartness may be the
best one can do.
