Hi all

It appears that the police carry out spot check of documents and should be
equipped with breathalysers. As is the case in most other countries.
Actually in France things have got a bit tight with cash and the French
legislature recently passed into law that the driver of the vehicle must
carry a perscribed sealed breathalyser for use on the road.

I do know how what the process is and in some way how to handle the police
when faced with the throwaway comment " you drink "

Many thanks
