I've been away for about a week, and had about 10000 mails waiting for me (mostly mailing lists, of course). And given the choice, would you rather see us answering questions in newbie and expert all day instead of actually working on the distrib? ;) Like you've said, it's a users helping users mailing list; we're constantly watching to see if there's anything we can improve in the distribution, but we don't have the time to answer to everything.
