It is a Hauppauge WinPCI. What is interesting is that I retird it for an ATI RAdeon for my windows machine because it wouldn't work on the new ABIT and IWILL mb. Since I'm testing I put my old INTEL 200pro back up and it works great now that I have it configured. My guess is the lock ups are related to the IRQ and I/O sharing that is so common in PCI. I can almost guarantee it. I'd recommend trying it in different slots etc until you can avoid the sharing of IRQ's. Perhaps Linux will handle the sharing more gracefully. ?? Good luck to you.
