Yep...crap. This board isn't that old so it kind of burns my @ss that it can't handle/detect anything better than an XP1500+. It has been recommended to me that I go with an Epox 8T7RD+ (or something like that). Good board, yet relatively cheap in the <$100 range. I rebuilt my kernel, then rebuilt/reinstalled my NVIDIA driver (via NVIDIA-installer) and am able to get X back up...sort of. There still appears to be a problem with XFree86 somewhere that doesn't show itself until I reboot. This is beginning to be a good deal more expensive an upgrade than I intended/anticipated. praedor - -- The First Amendment rests on the assumption that the widest possible dissemination of information from diverse and antagonistic sources is essential to the welfare of the public. - --Justice Hugo Black -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+5QcCaKr9sJYeTxgRAkmUAJ0YLETDGARFgQHfq2Sz/3XXKpYq0QCeP9MN RyNS/tX94GxEHWj0GvBQki0= =UblS -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
