There are too many numbers running around. The $699\$1399 numbers are the before Oct 15/after Oct 15 price for a single-cpu server. The $199 number I quoted is the before Oct 15 price for a single-user desktop machine. See http://www.sco.com/scosource/description.html They do not give the after Oct 15 price for a desktop. So you can sort of pick your own amount that you're not going to pay. [My desktop has Apache running on it.
