Avi, Whereas I like the icon idea, I do want to point out one thing. It came from copying windows XP and we all know how much windows users pay attention to this feature. *evile grin* Sides it doesn't work too well when the user doesn't have root. Better to notify IT via e-mail. The user can't do much more than stare at the icon. james
