Do you know what alloy the machinist is planning to use for
your axle?
Some people just see a little, light, low horsepower car and
have no appreciation of the abuse the axle is subject to.
With bumps and wheel spin, along with the extra torsion
that tight autocross courses add ( often all at the same time )
these little axles have it kinda rough.

Chris,
As around and see what it costs to get 45 inches of 300m
gun drilled and straightened afterward and you'll know why mine is still solid.
