I'd still rather be able to make a phone call and get an axle at my doorstep

The price was right.

The machine shop made me 2 new flat faced pistons for the puck canisters, 
they relined one of the canisters with a brass sleeve since the insides of 
it was buggered, and they fixed me up with a 40 inch axle with the keyway 
cut all for 100$. Of course this is all cash work. And no, I'm not telling 
who or where it is. ;-)
