I was at the bike shop this past week, I believe the DOT Nazi's are
requiring for 08, Cat's and closed loop FI for all bikes.  The 600's have
had Cat's for several years.
 In any case, there are plenty of different boxes that fool the computer and
either lean or richen the mixture.
