I just tried with Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7 32 bit. I did the following steps which worked fine: 1) git cloned the factor repository. 2) Ran the "Visual Studio Command Prompt" option from the Visual Studio start menu. 3) Changed to the factor source directory. 4) Ran: .\build-support\factor.cmd It built fine from there.
