Sorry for the hassle. #concatenative has had trouble with spammers, so the
channel only allows registered users to speak in the channel. You can
register with:
/msg nickserv register <password> <email>
Then on subsequent logins, use the "auth to services" form on webchat, or
do:
/msg nickserv identify <password>
