No.
If you want our help, then you need to listen to what we are telling
you. You are not listening to what we are telling you.
I'm going to try one more time, and then I'm going to stop offering you
advice, because as someone else has pointed out, this is clearly a
PEBKAC issue.
If you don't have the sendmail RPM installed, then the command sendmail
actually calls postfix. If you DO have the sendmail RPM installed,
whether it not you've enabled and started the sendmail service, then the
sendmail command will be the actual sendmail version, not the postfix
emulation. And if you don't have the sendmail service started, then the
sendmail command that comes from sendmail (not postfix) will not work.
That's the behavior you are seeing.

You don't seem to understand the difference between installing an RPM
package and configuring / enabling it. When we talk about installing,
we're talking about INSTALLING, not enabling or configuring. YOU SHOULD
NOT HAVE BOTH THE SENDMAIL RPM AND THE POSTFIX RPM INSTALLED AT THE SAME
TIME. UNINSTALL THE SENDMAIL RPM.

We can talk more about the problems you are having when you've actually
uninstalled the sendmail RPM. Until then, your system is in an
inconsistent state and it would be a waste of our time to attempt to
help you with it.
If you want our help, listen to what we are saying.
