You used Africa in an argument to fluff your feathers, but your
knowledge of the situation there is limited.

You might think this becasue someone else here might be taking that
tack. All I said is about China and Tibet, and that trying to blame
genocide on 'nature' has its logic but is not appropriate. I never
talked about Africa or America.

Excuse me, there are too many people not willing to identify themselves when they post. Too many use No_reply. It may have been easy to confuse your statements with another's. I have never claimed to be an expert on the politics of every group of people that are suffering in some way or another. My comments were that there sure seems to be a lot of death and suffering in the past  and current century  and referred to it as nature's way of dealing with mankind in general. Maybe you don't "subscribe" to that philosophy, but this is FFL which most people do or did at one time or another. Maharishi has said many times in the past that wars and such atrocities are natures way of purification of accumulated global stress. And that suffering is caused by people NOT living in accord with natural law, it all ties in. I simply referred to this process as Nature culling the human race which seems to have set a couple of people off in a tizzy. As for the politics of the Tibetan situation, I'm totally sympathetic with your views. But I would like to ask you, what  do you propose doing about it?As I asked somebody else, I think,  please be specific. China is a major power, economically, militarily and politically. They have a lot of pull in the UN and I believe veto power on the security council. Personally , I think philosophizing about the Tibetans is about all we can do!
