However, since the co-director of the study is also the director of nuclear cardiology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, with a reputation to uphold, it seems rather unlikely that this study would be allowed to follow such a pattern. (The "null hypothesis," BTW, is that stress reduction via TM will not be shown to increase blood flow to the heart in cardiac patients as measured by PET scan.)
