Hi Susan, according to Farmers Almanac, which I like, east of Mississippi River will be wetter and colder than usual; west will be warmer and drier; and a swath in the middle which includes Iowa will have widely fluctuating temps, which we've already had, and occasional storms, one of which is on its way. Not sure how much Science FA uses, but I bet it's based on lots of observation. Happy Holidays!
