There are also religions that believe in a magic man in the sky who micromanages everything. Usually they don't get in my face about that but when they do they get a lecture from me which hopefully disillusions them. That's the first step to sending on their way to "waking up."

So I have about as much respect for someone who says "take my god or I'll send you to him" as I do a cockroach.

Because when they die, they want to take you with them. Islam teaches the quickest guaranteed way to heaven is to be a martyr for Allah. They also teach of an apocalyptic end time. The Iranians believe that if they can create enough *chaos* in the world, the 12th Imam, or the Madhi, will come to stop the killing, after wiping out all of the infidels, of course. So, you can ignore the warnings now and deal with the consequences later. Whether you believe in their religion or not, you will be affected by it sooner or later. When I say *you*, I don't mean personally but the greater world..

Why should I give a rats ass about any religious fanatic's belief? If Charile Lutes were around these days he would say Islam is a dying religioun and that is why they are so boisterous. He said that about Christianity back in the day.
