Yes, you surprise me. The suggestion originally was that M. believed  there was a molecule created by consciousness  during "yogic flying" at the "gap" between matter and  consciousness. So the researchers began to look for it. Aaaaaaand...what does that have to do with quantum mechanics, exactly? It has to do with the idea that you could produce a molecule out of the unified field: bodily soma.
