Of course, but why did Jesus choose Sodom for the
comparison?  He didn't just pick it out of a hat;
Exactly! Are there any other towns other than Sodom and Gomorra that were totally destroyed by God with fire and brimstone mentioned in the Bible? It was the ideal example that Jesus was trying to impress on his disciples. God's judgemnet.
