Breaking News: First National Bank Robbery
The Fairfield Police Department makes two arrests, and charges one in
the First National Bank robbery. According to officials at
approximately 3:30 p.m. First National Bank located at 100 East
Burlington was robbed by a masked man, with an undisclosed amount of
money taken.
The police department, assisted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's
Office, Jefferson County Police Reserves and the Jefferson County
Attorney's Office arrested Thomas Arthur Halley, 62, of Fairfield,
with robbery in the second degreee. The charge is a class "C" felony
punishable by up to 10 years in prison with a fine of up to $10,000.
The other individual of interest officials were looking for,
Sean-Marco Indri, 29, of Fairfield, has been located, and has not been
charged in the matter. The investigation of this matter continues at
this time.
