Hi Janna,
It's certainly true that the new Web Administrator does not provide all of
the functionality that the Swing-based Administrator provides, at least not
yet. The features comparison page you pointed to was originally created to
try to nail down the features we thought were most important to include in
the first iteration of the Web Administrator. That page was then updated to
show which features actually made it in on this first round. We intend to
add features to the Web Administrator in future Fedora releases; some of
those features will cover functions which are already provided by the Swing
Administrator, some will be entirely new.

At this point we really don't have a time-line for the retirement of the
Swing Administrator because that will depend on how quickly we are able to
add these new features to the Web Administrator. The notice in the release
notes is really there just to let you know that we don't intend to do any
further work to improve the Swing-based Administrator as that effort will
instead be going into the Web Administrator. That being the case, we see
that there will likely come a point when the Swing-based Administrator is no
longer needed, which is when it will be retired.

Hope this helps.

Bill
