Marsha,

I don't think ANY vaccine can possibly hope to cover all the various
strains of anything.  I just find it so odd that a mature cat would all of
a sudden come down with calici, as their immune systems, absent FELV, are
quite well developed after a year of age.  I'm not a vet and am not trying
to doubt their diagnosis.  Just trying to figure it out.
