sounds as if there's a lot of questions here--which could be your
answer right there that this is NOT the right time...

Last month was my worst it came in around $900 with food and all

Combined expenses? The average
was $1000+ before Effie's chemo began. That would include any extra
spays and neuters, abscesses, etc. of wanderers. Any adopted out are
neutered, dewormed, shots and chipped before leaving. No, we are not
rich, that's just where our money goes. We are blessed.

Re: What's you number?
WOW....My goodness gracious, I would hat eto see your vet
bill, or food bill for that matter....But horray and good for you this
is wonderful to hear.
Numbers? The most I have had
at one time was 26. At present 23. Ancient Smokey lives with
ancient MIL in the little house next door and I do all his care and
some of hers. Two in the attached heated/ac garage; Effie, FeLV+, has
the sunroom and bedroom, I sleep with her; the others, including Butch,
FIV+, and TiTia (probably herpes) have the rest of the house and the
family room with a screen door keeping some separated. There is an
enclosed back porch with heater they use during the day, a pet door
goes fm the family room to the porch. Tiger has the neighborhood and
front porch or MIL's sheltered back deck and under her HOT house, he's
a heavy sprayer and never did want to be inside when he lived next
door. They took him when they moved but he came back and is such a
love. I hate him being outside but he loves it and we've made creature
comforts for him to ke!
! ep warm and dry. Cats is all I do all day, there isn't time for
anything else and this is what I love. They are all wonderful. Hubby
would like the garage kitties to be crated at night so he could put the
cars inside ... they have carpets and toys and cat tree, etc. Emily is
still somewhat feral and defies catching on a daily basis. Dominic
could be adopted out now if he would stop biting, biting, biting
fingers. A few kitty condos for mealtimes for those on special
diets. The feral female I spayed recently had to be boarded at the vet
a few days because I am out of isolation room!

OT: What's you number?
Hi All,
I have 5 kitties right now, and I am debating on taking
in 2 or 3 more, just out of curiosity what kind of numbers do you all
have...that would bring my count to 7 or 8, with a dog and a 5 year old
son, just curious?
Thanks
Cherie
