You have the largest fiber dealer in the country just an hour away. Contact FRIEDRICH TRAUB KG Schorndorfer STr. 18, Postfach 1366 D-73645 Winterbach Tel. 07181--70910, Fax 07181-709111 Web site: http://www.traub-wolle.de/ Direktverkauf, Besuchszeiten: Dienstags und donnerstags von 9.00 - 12.00 Uhr und 13.00 - 16.00 Uhr oder nach telefonischer Vereinbarung. They have EVERYTHING - supplies, books, equipment, yarn - weaving, spinning, felting, dyeing. They are an old family business that supplies the Waldorf Schools and stays in business even when spinning/weaving shops close. (There have been a lot of fiber shops, but lack of interest has closed many in the last 10 years or so). Call or write for their catalogs - they also publish a magazine called "Weben" twice a year - articles are usually pretty good, with complete listings of exhibitions, courses, museums and other related businesses - a must for newcomers to get acquainted. Schacht dealer, translator for Interweave publications, sell English fiber books. Have been back in Wisconsin for 11 years and still subscribe and have recently ordered books and dyestuff.
