Additonal: Use open source graphics programs like Gimp, GimPhoto or GimPshop. (Also Paint.NET, http://www.getpaint.net) Since your logo in the http://sites.google.com/site/dnsclirconline is already in.png format, you can remove the white background and save the same with transparent bg, so that you wont have to match the logo bg with the page / header bg.
