Coda never had problems understanding me in the past, as I nagged them with that request through wishlist after wishlist--and in fact they did finally eliminate them all in Finale 2000 (wh. for this and other reasons I consider to be the most perfectly realized version of Finale ever, despite the very real improvements added since) only to reintroduce them in subsequent versions. "Unnecessary" means unnecessary. To *anyone*, *ever*, not just me. A prompt to save is unnecessary if it occurs when one attempts to close after having made *no changes to the file*. I should have thought that blindingly obvious. -- Andrew Stiller Kallisti Music Press http://www.kallistimusic.com _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
