You have to adjust this in the extracted parts, unfortunately. In 
Scroll View with Measure Tool, drag the measure wider using the 
upper-right-hand handle. It will be neatly incorporated into Page 
View when you switch views. Don't forget to Update Layout. Don't do 
this in Page View, or all the extra space you add to the measure will 
be taken from the next one.

Hm. Maybe a bit finicky for an entire plugin, IMHO.
