Okay,

I could not find the RGB screws -- I think they were perhaps hidden behind
some sheet metal shielding Sony puts on the card thingy behind the electron
gun.  However, I blew some dust off the parts and put the case back on, and
lo, the green gun is mysteriously firing again.  (Thanks, Allen!)  "For how
long???" is of course the obvious question, so I think I'll continue to
search for other options.  I get the feeling that monitor, she is not long
for this world.
