It would be nice if Finale would let one attach chords to slash notation, rather than using a hidden layer for anchors.
We were just discussing the problem of attaching chords when you have to hide "anchors." Slash notation attachment only solves part of the problem, like how does that help you attach two chords to a whole note in a lead sheet? At least in slash notation you can very easily add a bunch of half rests or quarter rests in Lyaer 1 to attach chords to and not worry about having to hide them separately (slash notation takes care of that) or adding chords in different layers the way you have to for whole notes.
Write in to Coda to request that feature. Among my students it is the single biggest kludge that they have to deal with.
