Regarding choral music, I like to use Maestro 20 pt. for dynamic markings, and I set the above staff base line to +67 EVPUs above the top staff line. I set horizontal positioning to Left, but there will be a certain amount of tweaking because of lyrics, high notes in the bass parts and low notes in the alto parts.
