Sure. With the measure tool, select a multimeasure rest and then set its
width in: Measure > Multimeasure Rests > Edit...

I have 4 QuicKey macros that set MM widths to 400, 800, 1200 and 1600 EVPUs.
I also have a QK macro that sets selected measures to 400 EVPUs wide. This
is helpful when working on jazz/contemporary charts where the client likes
every system to have 4 equal-width measures per line. The MM rest macros
then adjust MM rests to fill the space of 1, 2, 3 and 4 measures (the last
one is used in special situations which are hard to summarize here).
