Meant to include these in my previous reply:

I think that the F1 issue is a programming error by MM -- they 
hardcoded the browsers, something which is harder on Windows than to 
just use the ShellExecute API to open the content in the default 
browser.

I also looked at the MadCap website, and the product looks awfully 
good to me, at least on the surface. It certainly offers the ability 
to deliver the content in a wide variety of formats, something that's 
necessary for a company like MM that has to support two OS platforms. 
It makes me wonder what the problems were that Sibelius encountered, 
and if they were indeed using MadCap. 

However, I'm not convinced they were using the same tools, as the 
Help file for the Sib4 demo (which is all I have) has this for the 
GENERATOR meta tag:

  Quadralay WebWorks Publisher 2003 for FrameMaker 8.0.8.2296

Certainly the results that are produced are completely underwhelming. 
How do the Finale 2008 help files compare? Are they as bad as the 
Sibelius help?
