And some of the Czech folk bands I saw in Moravia were also interesting--I don't know all of the ins and outs, but tenor tubas of some sort were always there (no problems finding one for my recordings) along wih clarinets, trumpets, tuba, slide trombones, and an occasional valve 'bone. When singers were there they were miked.
