You can use Robert Patterson's plug-in Mass Copy to copy the tuplet attributes.
Set a tuplet the way you like it. Highlight it with the selection tool. Bring up Mass Copy. Select Tuplets. Go to options and check "Paste Attributes Only" then go through the entire piece highlighting and pasting where ever this pattern occurs. Not automated but a quick solution.
