YAY. finally... i did the apt-get way. i have a couple last questions -after this BIG thank you! THANK YOU.
1) i have a line here that says: ...: Owner of /tmp/.X11-unix should be set to root (what should i do with that advice -what commands should i type?) 2) since installing the way i have now, does Fink know i have XDarwin installed or will i need [later] system-xfree86? 3) what the best and easiest (one shot?, i.e., fink install _____ ) wm to put on besides TWM? 4) and should i copy the .xinitrc from the wherever it is? to the user's home dir?
