(Cross-posted because there were questions on both -beginners and -users) Some users (including myself) had experienced problems on building qt3, because some files were put in strange places by lines like the following:
cp -f ../lib/libqt-mt.prl /sw/src/root-qt3-3.1.1-1../../../../lib/libqt-mt.prl The destination of the above copy winds up being /lib, which results in the installation bombing. Ben Reed posted a patch in CVS experimental to rectify the problem (bumps revision to 3.1.1-2)--check the mailing list archives. The second version that got posted seems to have done the trick for me: qt3 built. -- Alexander K.
