Hi,
I can't get the emacs server running with emacs 21.3.50. I
updated emacs again this morning, to emacs21-xaw3d version
21.3.50-20031224-2.
emacsclient comes back with
emacsclient: can't find socket; have you started the server?
To start the server in Emacs, type "M-x server-start".
I checked ps' output, and the server doesn't seem to be running.
It was working until yesterday's emacs update to 21.3.50. The
first time I tried the server with that update was this morning,
and then I remembered seeing something about another update on
the list yesterday, so I updated again, and it still doesn't
work.
$ sw_vers
ProductName: Mac OS X
ProductVersion: 10.2.8
BuildVersion: 6R73
$ fink --version
Package manager version: 0.17.4
Distribution version: 0.6.2.cvs
Any ideas?
