What do you get from "ls -l /usr/bin/cpp*" and from "/usr/bin/cpp3 --version"? If you don't have /usr/bin/cpp3 at all, you need to install gcc-3.1 from the developer tools disk image.

Interesting, I think my boss insisted that I omit that from the build when I installed Xcode because there was "no need". I will verify when I get to work tomorrow. It's his brand new G5 that gave me the fits. My laptop has had no trouble with XDarwin via Fink. Can I assume a lot of Fink stuff will barf with 3.1 missing?


Did I mention those new G5's have some MONSTER heat sinks?
