..I remember something was written about that in some HOWTO... will look for it ... But when the MTU would be the problem, then an ping with 4000bytes should also not work, or am I wrong? I tried a "ping -l 4000 www.uni.stuttgart.de".... works fine. -- CU __ (_ __)tephan Neumeister
