As soon as we got into the ring with another horse, little Joe wanted to kick it up a notch. I was riding a quarter horse in front of him and we picked up the canter; it's the only time I have seen him actually move into a canter in the ring without a long ordeal - he was NOT going to be left behind. My daughter was riding him and was so shocked she almost fell!!
