This message is from: "Reena Giola" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I know when working with my instructor during a lesson, she will have me stop (or do something) at the same spot.....well more then two times of that and Bogie (or Gus if I'm working him) will think "Oh ok, I stop(do that) here" and I already KNOW they are going to have this mentality so I just go a bit further, then stop (or do what ever it is the instructor is asking me to do).....!! LOL
Reena Arizona This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The other thing that helped was recommend by a friend on this list: when working on trot transitions, make sure you stop before it's your pony's idea to stop. This often meant taking 5 steps at the trot and then asking for him to walk. Kate
