<< Okay, I'll say it first. I'd say the stallion Vjostar is a crossbred.
He is not a fjord color, with the dark mane and tail (no white).
However, he looks exactly (in color) like many of the PMU crosses,
for instance, that are half fjord. I'd better run for cover, as he
might be a pretty famous stallion in Holland, but his legs are too
thin, his head a little too refined and his color definitely wrong.
I'll never be convinced that he is a pure fjord. His markings are
really cool, though. It's like a bigger version of the "grepp", the
stripes across the withers that some fjords have. >>
LoL Don't worry Dagrun, that was my first thought too! He has many
characteristics of a cross, but the markings above his tail are strange, cross
or not.
