If the what if happens, it is called giving your mares a shot to take care of the accident. Cross breeding is not allowed in our circles. But there is a cure for an accident if one occurs. It is best to prevent an accident then to cure one. Talk to your local vet about methods if your mares are exposed to the wrong stallion. I would be sure to place very HOT WIRE up. Mares can convince even the best well trained stallions to jump, hop and skip over good fencing. :-) Now... go get er dun! Catherine Lassesen Southern Oregon
