In the last two years I have volunteered to be on two committees -- One was the Education Committee, and the other the Breeder's Committee. -- After several months work which included very long conference calls late at night, the Education Committee was summarily disbanded, and supposedly incorporated into another committee. I think Education and Promotions got combined. I can only speak for myself, but I was not warned of the coming change, and I was not asked to be part of the new combined committee. -- I'm not sure if the others on the Ed. Committee were asked either. The next committee I volunteered for was the Breeder's Committee. This group did some very good work over several months, and came up with a lot of sound ideas including the drafting of a Code of Ethics for Breeders. -- This committee was also summarily disbanded with not even a notification to those members who had worked on it.
