I just wanted to second Mark's praise of Linda and Kristin of All Things Fjord and More. Because of them we had a beautiful display, with banners and fancy cloth name plates on each stall. There were Norwegian flags, and the table was also decorated and loaded with materials (thanks Carol for the many Heralds to give away). It was great to have a place to gather, and a very welcoming place to hang out. I don't feel like I did much of anything but have fun! You have to also realize that Linda is making a big move this week to "way up north" and that Kristin has a very on-the-go family that includes a three year old to really appreciate all that they did, PLUS they were not allowed to sell anything (no lovely signs/goat milk soap, various Fjordy clothing items, etc.), so they were there just representing the breed. THANK YOU LINDA AND KRISTIN! The breed was well represented with driving, therapeutic driving, English style riding, pleasure riding, mom and baby, and a horse so well-trained that it went on a teeter-totter, and shifted its weight back and forth to move the teeter totter. What great proof of the willingness and versatility of the breed. I also picked up my road cart, and I love it! Some unique features: hand made bent spindle back gives the cart a refined look, lovely pin striping, and the box under the seat that was made by bending the wood so that there are no joints, very pretty. I'm looking forward to showing in style this year. Tish and Elph in Minneapolis [demime 0.99c.8 removed an attachment of type image/gif which had a name of Blank Bkgrd.gif]
